At the end of 2019, a funding line for the creation of digital teaching and learning materials was announced in Hesse. Within the framework of the funding line, which was financed by the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts, teachers at Hessian universities (teachers from at least two universities had to be involved in an application) could be supported with 500,000 € in the creation and provision of Open Educational Resources.
